MULTILINK IS ROLLING OUT AN EMERGENCY NETWORK AND PROVIDES FREE AND LOW CHARGE INTERNET SERVICES FOR HELPING AND REBUILDING HAITI

Multilink reaffirms its profound solidarity towards Haitian people, companies and institutions throughout the ordeal facing all of us. Since the very beginning, we have been actively engaged in aid and recovery efforts.

Internet Emergency Network
With the precious help of our partners, we are currently optimizing communication infrastructures and rolling out an extended Internet Emergency Network. Our current capacity will be tripled in a few weeks to address urgent needs.

Services to Organizations
In addition to the fast deployment of its network technology, Multilink also provides free, low charge and regular Internet services to many organizations and institutions. These organizations include:

Gouvernement d'Haïti, Unicef, OCHA, US Army, Canadian Army, Brazilian Army, Catholic Relief Service, Agence Française de développement, CICR, PADF, Peace Dividend Trust, HMSME / USAID, OMS-OPS, World Concern Haiti, NetHope, SOS Journalistes, Orphanage The Future of Haiti, Énergie FM, Radio Mega, Radio Télé Eclair, Radio Vision 2000, Radio RFM, Journal Le Matin, Quisqueya University, Université d'État d'Haïti, Université G.O.C., Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF).

Multilink’s Mission
The earthquake that devastated our country shows the crucial role played by the Internet in a time of crisis or disaster, when other means of communication are no longer available. Since day one, on January 12, Multilink’s Internet services have remained operational. Furthermore, we were the first to do Live Video Streaming from Haiti to maintain communication with the rest of the world.

Internet service providers, such as Multilink, have an important mission to carry out in helping Haitians right now and in Haiti’s rebuilding in the longer term.

We wish to thank our employees for their courage and commitment in these hard times. We also wish to thank our partners and friends, Aethra-Teresta Group, Cisco, Fujitsu, Google, OneMax, Tricom, Witech and all the others, for their outstanding and ongoing support. We shall be able to rebuild Haiti with the help of everyone!
